DISCO FREESTYLE DANCE

Disco Freestyle Dance

Express Yourself with Disco Freestyle Dancing

This style of dance developed from several dance films that were popular during the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, i.e. Saturday Night Fever, Staying Alive, Fame, Grease, etc.

Today, almost every pop music group has a backing group doing freestyle dancing.

Freestyle dance taught the general public to express themselves freely to the pop music of the day. It can be danced solo, in pairs and in groups, and it covers a range of rhythms and styles including Hip-Hop.

Because freestyle dance requires energy and body movement, a warm-up is always included. Freestyle dance is a great way to stay fit!
